For companies that use BBS via our cloud infrastructure (BBSCloud), each computer accessing BBSCloud needs the BBSCloud Client installed on the desktop. On-premises users do not require the BBSCloud Client, as BBS Accounting is installed on their own server, so this topic does not apply.
Before you can log in to BBSCloud, you will need to download the BBSCloud Client to your PC.
Downloading the BBSCloud Client to your PC
1.Navigate to www.bbsoftware.com.au in a web browser. 2.Click Support > Downloads. 3.Enter the password ‘bbs123’ and click Submit. 4.Click the download button next to ‘Download our BBSCloud Client software for Windows’. 5.Save the download to your desktop (or, if it downloads to your Downloads folder automatically, cut and paste it from there to your desktop).
Once the client has downloaded to your PC, enter your BBSCloud username and password. When logging in from your main business premises, the ‘Connect Using VPN’ box should remain unticked. Only tick this box when logging in from outside your main business premises (for example, at home) if you have external access. |
