A feature exists in the Sales Ordering system to allow users to create a Customer Order Form or Price Comparison quotation.
Selecting the Price Comparison/Customer Order Form option in the Header tab of Sales Order Entry/Maintenance allows users to create either a Price Comparison or Customer Order Form for the selected customer.

After clicking Next (F6) the below screen will appear to select whether you want to create a Price Comparison quote or Customer Order Form.

Customer – Displays the customer code and name Type: •Price Comparison - Creates a price comparison quote for the selected customer •Cust Order Form - Creates a customer order form for the selected customer |

Price Comparison: •Current Supplier - The current supplier's name or users can select from a list of saved suppliers by clicking the drop down arrow •Show Quantities - When ticked product quantities will be displayed on the quote •Show Saving As: •Value & Percentage - Displays the saving as both a value and percentage •Value Only - Displays the saving as a value only •Percentage Only - Displays the saving as a percentage only |

General Options: •Show Prices Ex GST - When selected prices will be shown exclusive of GST •Show Prices Inc GST - When selected prices will be shown inclusive of GST •Product Code Displayed - Users can select to display either the BBS Code, SKU or Manufacturer code on the Price Comparison/Cust Order Form by clicking the drop down arrow •Rep Detail to Display - The Rep code detail to be displayed on the Price Comparison/Cust Order Form, users can select an alternative Rep code by clicking •Print Product Images - When selected product images for the selected products will print on the Price Comparison/Cust Order Form |
When entering each product into a Price Comparison, and users clicks Add/Update Line (F7), the below screen will appear.

Customer - Displays the customer code and name for the selected customer Product - Displays the product code and description for the selected product being added to the Price Comparison quote UOM - Displays the unit of measure for the selected product Qty Quoted - Displays the quantity of the selected product being compared Future Cost - Displays the future cost of the selected product code Display UOM - Users can enter an alternative unit of measure to be displayed on the Price Comparison quote |

Current Supplier - Enter the current supplier pricing for the selected product for the selected customer. GP% is displayed based on the future cost. |

Proposed Pricing - Proposed pricing will automatically populate based on pricing in BBS. Users can enter different pricing if required. GP% is displayed based on the future cost. Clicking the button on the Price Ex field allows users to view the Pricing Pop-Up including all sell prices and costs. |

Price Difference: $ Saving - Displays the price saving as a value % Saving - Displays the price saving as a percentage |
When products are added to the Price Comparison, both current supplier pricing and proposed pricing will be visible displaying the customer's saving per line and savings over the total of the Price Comparison quote in magenta text.
Once all entries have been added, users will only be able to save the entry as a quote (not as an order). Users can then select to print/send the Price Comparison or Customer Order Form either in the order the products were entered, or in sections by product group.
