Customers 'Sales Alerts' can now have a specific delivery code assigned to them so they only display when a specific delivery address is selected to let users know of any special instructions related to that address. These alerts can be created/amended in Customer Masterfile Maintenance in the Alerts tab. A Sales Alert created without a delivery code will apply the alert to all delivery codes for that customer.
When processing a transaction, Customer Alerts will display first (ie those without a specific delivery code), and will still include any alerts for customer classes that are flagged to display an alert, as well as alerts showing all sales orders on hold for the account regardless of delivery code.
Then once a delivery address is selected (or if editing an existing transaction, after the customer alerts are displayed), the alerts specific for a delivery address will be displayed. This will also include alerts for sales orders on hold for that specific delivery address only.
The delivery code option for 'Accounts Alerts' is not available.
