Three new system parameters have been added to System Parameter Maintenance > Sales & Customer Service > Point of Sale designed to enhance the thermal receipt functionality:

 

 

1.Display Total Savings off RRP (Loyalty/Member Discounts)

This parameter will calculate and display the total savings the customer received based on their pricing settings. The calculation is done as the difference between the sell price the customer was charged (only if they were charged their default sell price for the product) and the Standard Sell Price (or List Price if applicable).

 

2.Display Total Savings from Promotions (Promotion Discounts)

This parameter will calculate the total discount received from promotions applied to the customer’s transaction.

 

3.Display Total Savings from Manual Discounts (Other Discounts)

This parameter will calculate the total discount based on any manual discount percentages entered at the Point of Sale (POS).

 

Important Note:

If a price is manually altered at any point, it will not be considered a 'Saving' for these calculations.

 

These updates provide more transparency into the savings a customer receives from various pricing sources and will be visible on the thermal receipt.
