The Min/Max/WoS Settings Maintenance program allows users to manipulate the thresholds and factors used when calculating which products should be stocked and the minimum and maximum levels (Full Version only), as well as the weeks of stock calculations. This screen has multiple sections with each section described below.

Warehouse Code - The warehouse code or click to search or ** for all warehouses.
|

Product Group - The product group or click to search or *** for all product groups.
|
|
Periods of history to use - The number of months history to use. (Excluding the current month).
|
Min/Max Qualifications
Min/Max/WoS Settings Maintenance - Min/Max Qualification Screen

Minimum # of periods with movements - The minimum number of months a product must have movements for it to be considered a stocked item.
|
|
Minimum Weighted Avg Monthly Usage - The minimum weighted average monthly usage a product must have for it to be considered a stocked item.
|
|
Maximum Cost for a Stockable Product - The maximum cost for a stocked product.
|
|
Maximum # periods with 0 sales (Cat Items) - The maximum number of months with no sales for catalogue items before a product cannot be considered as a stocked item.

|
Maximum # periods with 0 sales (Non-Cat Items) - The maximum number of months with no sales for non-catalogue items before a product cannot be considered as a stocked item.
|
|
Minimum # of Customers (Cat Items) - The minimum number of customers who have purchased a product marked as a catalogue item for it to be considered a stocked item.
|
|
Minimum # of Customers (Non-Cat Items) - The minimum number of customers who have purchased a product marked as a non-catalogue item for it to be considered a stocked item.

Min/Max Large Custs/Sales
Min/Max/WoS Settings Maintenance - Min/Max Large Custs/Sales Screen

% of Total Sales required to be considered a large customer - The percentage of total sales by a single customer to be considered a large customer and therefore their sales will be excluded from calculations.

|
% of Top Customers not excluded regardless of % of total sales - The percentage of top customers, regardless of percentage of total sales not to be excluded from calculations.
|
|
Grid for Large Sales: Where a single outward movement (eg sale, transfer out or BOM build component usage) is greater than the Mthly Avg Use Over multiplied by the Large Sale Factor, the sale will be deducted from the total sales and removed from the calculation. i.e. A product has a monthly average use of 20, this will be multiplied by the large sale factor of 4, therefore any single outward transactions larger than 80 will be removed from the calculations. Stock adjustments out are not included as outward movements for the purpose of Min/Max calculations.

•Large Sale Factor - The number the monthly average usage over will be multiplied by to determine a large sale. |

•Do Not Exclude the following customer codes - Customer codes not to be excluded from the calculations even if they are considered a large customer. |

Excluded Customer Groups - Customer groups to be excluded from the calculations.

Minimum Stock Holding Factors:
•Mthly Avg Use Over - The monthly average usage greater than.
•Mths Stock to Hold - The number of months of minimum stock to hold. This will automatically populate when you enter a Weeks of Stk to Hold figure.
•Weeks of Stk to Hold - The number of weeks of minimum stock to hold. This will automatically populate when you enter a Mths Stock to Hold figure. |

Weeks of Stock Target Calculations: The weighted average weekly usage is multiplied by the number entered in Weeks of Stock to calculate the weeks of stock target (WoS Target).
Weeks of Stock - The number of weeks used to calculate weeks of stock target.
