Setting Up PDA Barcode Scanning (Broadcast Mode).
 

1.Locate the built-in scanner settings app on your PDA device.

 

2.Navigate to the Output Mode section.

 

3.Select Broadcast Mode.

 

4.Check the Broadcast Settings, which will display:

•A name

•A key-value pair

 

5.Open the Atom app on your device.

6.Go to Settings > Edit Barcode Scanner Settings.

 

7.Enter the name and key-value pair from the PDA scanner settings into the corresponding fields in Atom.

 

8.Save the settings. The Atom app is now ready to receive barcodes via Broadcast Mode.
 

Note:

Keyboard Mode can still be used but is slower for scanning multiple items.

Make sure your PDA device is updated to the latest OS version for full compatibility with Broadcast Mode.
