Bill of Materials Settings:

•BOM Labour Recovery Account - The general ledger account for BOM labour recovery.

•BOM Labour Recovery Cost Centre - The cost centre for BOM labour recovery.

•BOM Consumables Account - The general ledger account for BOM consumables.

•BOM Consumables Cost Centre - The cost centre for BOM consumables.

•BOM Sales Order Customer - The Bill of Materials sales order customer.

•BOM Purchase Order Supplier - The Bill of Materials purchase order supplier.

•Default Build Method ('P'art Build OK/'N'o Part Build) - P - Part Build OK - Default BOM orders to allow partial builds of total quantity required where sufficient components are available, N - No Part Build - Default BOM orders to only process builds when all components are available to build the entire quantity required.

•Default to Express Build (Picking slips for backorders only) - Y - Components are allocated directly to BOM build orders and can be built immediately. Sales orders/picking slips will only be created for components on backorder, N - Sales orders/picking slips will be generated for all components to allow picking of the components prior to a build taking place.

•Default Labour Rate - Default hourly labour rate.

•Default BOM Order Rep Code - Default Bill of Materials order rep code.

Picking/Packing/Despatch Settings:

•Use Picking Slips/Picking Run System - Y - Sales orders entered will be printed in small batches in the warehouse to pick/pack/invoice. This includes new sales orders and picking slips for backorders when goods are receipted, N - Sales orders are printed at time of entry. No picking slips will be produced when goods on backorder are receipted in (generally used for non-stock controlled systems).

•Default number of picking slips to print - Default number of picking slips to print in a batch (picking run)

NOTE: it is recommended that only a small batch is printed at a time as orders that are currently on a picking run (a picking slip has been printed) cannot be altered unless removed from the run, and it also allows backorder items to be allocated to unprinted orders without having to remove/reprint the picking slips or generating two invoices.

•Print Picking Run with Picking Slips - Y - An additional sheet is produced with each picking run showing summary information for each picking slip, allowing the recording of packaging and shipping details for batch invoicing in another location other than the warehouse, N - No picking run sheet is produced. Orders will be invoiced in the warehouse as they are picked using the picking slips.

•Product Code on Picking Slips - N - No product code will print on picking slips, B - BBS product code will print on picking slips, E - SKU will print on picking slips.

•Track Picked Quantities on Part Picked Orders - Y - Pick quantities will be tracked on part picked orders - N - Pick quantities will not be tracked on part picked orders.

•Use Picking Confirmation (Scan Out) - Y - When confirming sales orders on a picking run, the Picking Confirmation will be displayed for all orders to facilitate the barcode scanning of each product picked, N - No Picking Confirmation screen will be displayed when confirming orders on a picking run.

•Generate Delivery Paperwork when Invoicing - Y - Delivery Dockets and Invoices will print when invoicing from the picking run and manual invoice sales order screens. N - Delivery dockets and invoices will not print when invoicing via the picking run or manually invoice sales orders screens. This should only be used when delivery dockets are printed manually or via the manual manifest system prior to invoicing.

Exclude Product Groups when calculating Order Fill by Time - Product groups to be excluded when calculating order fill by time.

Picking Slip Format - O - Full (Original) - Picking slip displays ordered, previously invoiced, pick from bin and pick from reserve quantities, N - No Bin - Picking slip does not include bin locations, S - Simplified - Picking slip displays pick from bin, pick from reserve and total to be picked quantities only.

Display warnings for negative G/P when Confirming Orders - Y - A warning is displayed when invoicing if low G/P % rules are not met. This can be helpful to adjust selling prices where backordered items are receipted in more expensive than expected, N - No warnings are displayed.

Reserve Stock for No Part Ship Orders - Y - Goods receipted in after a sales order is raised will be displayed on the picking slips as being in the 'reserve' area for all orders including orders marked as No Part Ship (stock may stay in the reserve area until all backordered items on a sales order are receipted in), N - Goods receipted in after a sales order is raised will be displayed on the picking slips as being in the 'reserve' area for Part Ship OK orders only.

BBS <-> BBS Electronic Data Interchange Settings:

•Use BBS <-> BBS EDI - Y - To accept BBS <-> BBS EDI data electronically, N or leave blank - To not accept BBS <-> BBS EDI data electronically.

•EDI Documents Location String - The programming string indicating the location of the EDI attachments folder.
