The Document Types Maintenance program can be used to maintain Document Types. Some of the settings users would change are the Default Printer and Static Document Messages (such as Christmas opening hours etc). DocumentTypes Maintenance Screen

Document Type - The document type being maintained or users can click to search for the document type
Document Name - The selected document name
|

Document Branding Settings - Allows users to configure Document Branding Settings. Please refer to Document Branding Settings for more information.

|
Default Printer - Users can change the default printer for the selected document type by clicking the and selecting the required printer
|
|
Static Document Messages - User can enter static messages to be displayed on the selected document types
|
|
Document can be sent electronically - When ticked the document can be sent electronically.
Use W/H Address on Document Header - When ticked the warehouse address will display on document header.
Edit HTML Email Message - Navigates users to the HTML Editor to edit the selected HTML email message. This button is only available when the Default email message field has a reference to a HTML file ie <<#FILE: xxxx\xxxx.html>>. Please refer to HTML Editor for more information.

Email Options - Users can specify to have selected documents From and Reply To email addresses to be a specific email address instead of the BBS users email address that initiates them.

Save - Saves any changes made to the selected document type
Exit - Closes the screen (Any changes made will be lost if users doesn't choose Save before Exiting)
Company/Warehouse Specific Settings - For systems with multiple companies, or companies that have multiple warehouses, and would like selected documents to have different settings for different warehouses, users can select a warehouse to set specific settings, branding and static document messages. Please refer to Company/Warehouse Specific Settings for more information.

Document Branding Settings
User can create/edit document branding to be used in conjunction with Company/Warehouse Specific Settings.
Document Types - Document Branding Screen

Brand Code - Brand code for the selected document branding.
Branding Desc - Description for the selected document branding.
|
|
Company Name - Company name for the selected document branding
Address 1 - Street/Postal address for the selected document branding
Address 2 - Suburb name for the selected document branding.
Address 3 - State name for the selected document branding.
Postcode - Postcode for the selected document branding.

|
ABN - Company ABN for the selected document branding.
ACN - Company ACN (if applicable) for the selected document branding.
Phone - Company phone number for the selected document branding.
Fax - Company fax number for the selected document branding.

Web Address - Web address for the selected document branding.
|
|
Company Logo File - Company logo filename for the selected document branding.
Document Header File - Document header filename for the selected document branding.

Invoice and Statement Settings:
•Show EFT Details for bank - The bank code to show EFT details for on invoices and statements for the selected document branding, clicking the allows users to select a different bank code.
•Email Address for Remittance Advices - Email address for remittances advices for the selected document branding. |

Save - Saves any changes made to the selected document branding.
Cancel - Cancels any changes made to the selected document branding allowing users to select another document branding.
Delete - Deletes the document branding.
Exit - Closes the screen (Any changes made will be lost if users doesn't choose Save before Exiting)

Company/Warehouse Specific Settings
Users can set specific settings for document types by company, warehouse and department.
Document Types - Company/Warehouse/Dept Settings Screen

Document Type - Displays the document type and name being maintained.
Company - Displays the company name.
|
|
Warehouse - The warehouse the selected document type is being created/edited for.
|
|
Sales Department - Different settings can be applied to different sales departments based on the customer's account manager's department.
|
|
Default Printer - Users can change the default printer for the selected document type for the selected company/warehouse/department by clicking the and selecting the required printer.

Use W/H Address on Document Header - When ticked the warehouse address will display on document header.

Document Branding - Users can change the document branding for the selected document type for the selected company/warehouse/department by clicking the and selecting the required document branding.
