Users now have greater control over cost and gross profit (GP) calculations for Back to School booklists and quotes. Users can now designate a single supplier for BTS cost pricing and apply special BTS pricing to specific customer groups, ensuring more accurate and tailored GP calculations.

 

Note: The vendor the BTS costs would be loaded against would be a 'dummy' supplier named 'BTS Cost Prices' or something similar and for these cost prices to be used, a Customer Group would need to be created and all BTS customers would need to be linked to this customer group in Customer Masterfile Maintenance. This vendor and customer group then need to be configured in System Parameter Maintenance for the system to use the BTS costs for BTS quoting.

1.Single Supplier Cost Selection for BTS GP Calculations:

•Users can now select a single supplier from which costs will be pulled when calculating GP on BTS booklists and BTS booklist quotes.

•BTS Cost Price Control: This feature allows users to load all BTS-specific pricing under a single supplier, ensuring GP is calculated based on special BTS cost prices rather than standard pricing. This is especially useful for managing promotional pricing or seasonal discounts for BTS campaigns.

 

2.Customer Group Application of BTS Cost Pricing:

•Apply BTS Costs to Specific Customer Groups: Users can now select customer groups that will have BTS cost prices applied when calculating GP on both quotes and booklists.

•Flexible Grouping: All BTS customers can be organised into one or multiple groups. When these groups are selected, the system will use the BTS Cost Supplier’s prices when calculating GP, ensuring that BTS-specific costs are applied consistently across all relevant customers.
