We're excited to introduce Sell Price Rules, a powerful new feature that allows you to dynamically calculate and update product sell prices based on flexible business logic, markup, or GP targets. The Sell Price Rules feature replaces and extends the existing Sell Price Grid feature which has now been decommissioned.

Sell Price Rules can be defined in Sell Price Rule Maintenance where users can specify simple or complex criteria to target the price rule to a set of specific products. Users can also specify various options for the application of the pricing rule including which sell price level to set, which cost to use as a base, start date and expiry date, rule priority, increases or decreases only, rounding options etc. For products that match the selected criteria, a sell price will be calculated based on a cost-bracket markup grid.

 

Sell Price Rules are automatically recalculated each day via the Sell Price Rule Recalculate and Update process which runs in an Auto-Job, and any prices that need to be updated against the products will be updated as required.
