Price to Set - The sell price that this rule should set. Options are:
•Standard Sell Price
•List Price
•Alternate Price
•Special Pricing Levels 1-6 (if configured and not set to dynamically update based on a flat markup/discount in System Parameter Maintenance - Special Pricing Levels)
Update Mode - The update mode to use for this sell price rule. Options are:
•Calculate Only - This sell price rule will only be used to calculate suggested sell prices, but will not update the sell prices on the products. Users can use the Sell Price Rule Recalculate and Update report to review suggested sell prices.
•Update Prices - This sell price rule will be used to calculate and update sell prices on products.
•Increase Only (Minimum Prices) - This sell price rule will be used to calculate and update sell prices on products, but will only update the prices where the sell price rule calculated price is higher than the currently set price on the products (ie setting a minimum sell price for these products).
•Decrease Only (Maximum Prices) - This sell price rule will be used to calculate and update sell prices on products, but will only update the prices where the sell price rule calculated price is lower than the currently set price on the products (ie setting a maximum sell price for these products).
Cost to Use - The cost price to base this sell price rule on. Options are:
•Future Cost (Default Supplier) - The future cost from the default supplier for the product
•Future Cost (Highest) - The highest future cost across all suppliers on file for the product
•Future Cost (Lowest) - The lowest future cost across all suppliers on file for the product
•Future Cost (Average) - The average of all future costs across all suppliers on file for the product
•Average Cost (Default Warehouse) - The average cost of the product in the default warehouse
•Last Cost (Default Warehouse) - The last cost of the product in the default warehouse
Calculation - The calculation type for the sell price rule. Options are:
•Percentage Markup/GP - Allows for either a markup percentage or gross profit percentage to be entered to be added to the selected cost.
•Dollar Markup/GP - Allows for a markup/GP amount in dollars to be entered to be added to the selected cost.
Start Date - The date which this sell price rule should come into effect. Leave blank to start immediately.
Expires - The date which this sell price rule should expire.
Never Expire - Tick to make this sell price rule never expire.
Rounding - Rounding options for the calculated price. Options are:
•No Rounding - No rounding will be applied to the calculated price
•Round to nearest (ex GST) - The calculated price will be rounded either up or down to the nearest multiple of the value entered, excluding GST.
•Round to nearest (inc GST) - The calculated price will be rounded either up or down to the nearest multiple of the value entered, including GST.
•Round up to (ex GST) - The calculated price will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of the value entered, excluding GST.
•Round up to (inc GST) - The calculated price will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of the value entered, including GST.
•Round down to (ex GST) - The calculated price will be rounded down to the nearest multiple of the value entered, excluding GST.
•Round down to (inc GST) - The calculated price will be rounded down to the nearest multiple of the value entered, including GST.
•Make price end in (ex GST) - The calculated price will be rounded up until the price ends in the value entered (eg $0.95c), excluding GST.
•Make price end in (inc GST) - The calculated price will be rounded up until the price ends in the value entered (eg $0.95c), including GST.
Rule Enabled - Marks the rule enabled or disabled.
Rule Priority - Sets the priority for the sell price rule. The lower the number, the higher the priority. This is used to determine which price rule applies to which product and pricing level where there is overlapping sell price rule criteria.
