The following steps describe how to generate shelf labels in BBS Accounting using a Zebra label printer.
1.Remove despatch labels from Zebra printer.
2.Insert roll of perforated card shelf labels into printer ensuring that at least half a label is protruding.
3.Press and hold the button on the printer for one flash, continue to hold until it flashes twice, then release the button.
4.The printer should recalibrate to the new label size.
5.In BBS, open the Inventory Enquiry, open up a common product, go to the General section then to the Pricing tab and click Print Shelf Label, OK, and select the printer.
1.If the label fails to print, and the light on the printer is flashing, press and release the button once more to feed out the one label.
2.If the label does print correctly, try from step 3 again and if it fails again, contact support.
6.Run the shelf label process you wish as below.
a)Go to Main Menu > Inventory Control > Price Adjustments > Shelf Label Print & Report. b)Leave product selections at their defaults, or restrict by bin location, product group etc. c)Select Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive d)Select Yes to Print Labels e)Ensure No is selected for Update as Printed (this allows you to reprint the labels again if the printer fails to print them correctly) f)Once labels have printed Go to Main Menu > Inventory Control > Price Adjustments > Shelf Label Print & Report again. g)Leave product selections at their defaults h)Select Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive i)Select No to Print Labels j)Ensure Yes is selected for Update as Printed (this will record the prices on the labels just printed as printed in BBS so they won't print again next time, unless they change again). |

7.Once labels have printed, press the button on the printer to feed out one more label then tear them off.
8.Remove the card stock from the printer.
9.Reinsert the roll of despatch labels into printer ensuring that at least half a label is protruding.
10.Press and hold the button on the printer for one flash, continue to hold until it flashes twice, then release the button.
11.The printer should recalibrate to back to the original label size.
12.Feed out one extra label to ensure the printer is only feeding one label at a time.
