This process is used to configure a Customer Administrator and Sub-Users for the eStore. A Customer Administrator can manage other web logins, allowing them to maintain user access and settings directly from within their own eStore login.
You can set up the relationship from either login: select an administrator to choose their sub-users, or select a sub-user to choose their administrators. Use either procedure below.
Choose which users an administrator can manage
1.From the BBS Main Menu, select eStore > Maintenance > eStore Web Login Maintenance. 2.Enter or look up the Web ID of the login that will be the customer administrator. 3.Click Configure Admins, Sub-Users and Approvals. 4.In Is Customer Admin for these Users, double-click each web login the administrator may manage to set it to Allow. A green tick identifies an allowed sub-user. 5.Review the selections to confirm that only the intended sub-users have green ticks. 6.Click Save. |

The two customer-admin lists describe opposite directions: •Customer Admins for this User - identifies who administers the selected login. •Is Customer Admin for these Users - identifies the users the selected login can manage.
Customer-admin permissions and order-approval permissions are configured separately. Please refer to Maintain Order Approvers for information about assigning order approvers.
Copy From Another User can copy relationship selections, but the resulting assignments should be reviewed before saving. |
